the one with the largest in size should be the one that content all your e-mails. Once you locate that file, Use the Import & Export function in Outlook to import it back to your current mailbox.
Hi,
I had to re-install windows (not a fresh install, just an install over the old installation )
I previously had Office 2003 installed on the last installation and have to re-install it on the new installation.
When Windows failed on me last time prior to this latest install, I was unable to backup my Outlook emails to a .pst file ( I couldn't even get into safe mode). I therefore had to cut my losses and risk losing data by backing up what I could in the command prompt then installing windows again.
Is it still possible to get my old Outlook emails back? (I think these would be .msg files?) Do you know which folder they would be kept in?
I backed up all the folders in 'User' : My Documents, My Pictures etc prior to installing Windows again.
Does Outlook 2003 save emails as dbx files?
sorry for the cluttered message.
Thanks in advance
