well [bob b.....kees_B] i really do appreciate both ur effort in tryin to hlp me out, but the point is, i have virtually tried out evry possible windows 7 solution [recovery, startup repair, cmd prompt.....] i think wat u should probably tell me is somthing new that i havent tried before like a software or forum where i can post a view of the error message i get each time i open control panel or if u can possibly help with a link where i can acess my windows explorer registry files so as to compare with a friends pc to know where the fault realy is. A javascript icon in which i mistakenly open caused all this fault may cud help with issues to treat such script.

Restore to factory settings

As was said before, one of the options you've yet to try is restoring to factory settings. That will take a couple of hours and save you from wasting as much time as you already have. Under no circumstances do you want to fool with the registry - that's good for nothing but trouble.
Good luck.

Registry cleaners will remove needed registry entries for proper Windows operation; especially registry keys needed for functions/operations you do not currently use or may need in the future.

Sounds like the java malware broke your system. Backup all personal files before you do a factory restore, as these files will be lost forever when you do a factory restore.

Do not use a registry cleaner.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
