Registry Mechanic program >>

Is the Registry Mechanic program worth purchasing?
Ran the free scan and it found over 500 problems, but the only way to repair them is to purchase their program.
Have Windows 98 with NAV system.

What issue will this fix?

If none, then what did you pay for?

Before you go and pay for one of these products you might want to run EASYCLEANER through GOOGLE.

It might not be as agressive as reg mech but the price is right===FREE.

Search Google RegScrubXP. Excellent, and it has some great tweaks.

Be aware many of these programs can easily be given too much "control" and have the ability of totally messing up your system. Expecially if you really are a "newbie". Take Norton Utilities as an example. Did you know that originally only certified technicians could buy this product? When Peter Norton retired and sold the rights to Symantec, they saw the opportunity to make more money by selling it to everyone. I have seen Speed Disk scramble hard drives instead of defragging them. Registry Mechanic has been known to delete necessary registry entries. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
