Registry Mechanic

Hi, I have been using registry mechanic for about a month, and It fixes problems on a daily basis, usually under 10 problems found. That being said, there is obviously something in my registry that is regenerating itself... Any tips on how to find out what it is and how to kill it? Thanks... Im running XP on a Compaq presario laptop
