I would post this in the Computer Help Forum or the forum for whatever your operating system is. You've got to be very careful with any kind of utility or program that goes into the registry.

How about Registry Mechanic

I'm still a noob on the Internet... I've found a site where they do "cracks" of programs (whatever that means) - after lurking for few hours in their forum, I've found a post where someone req.d a "crack" of Registry Mechanic, and someone replied with a username and registry number - woohoo!
So I got a valid registered Registry Mechanic working for free! Man, it feels so good... sorry about it.

Well I guess it shoul work better than the freeware
