..and in many cases, they may cause more problems than they help. Having any program automatically fix "errors" that it finds is asking for problems. (If you install another of the various tools, it might find 400 errors, or more. Which one do you follow? And are all those errors really an issue?) I'll suggest not installing any of the tools you mentioned.

Instead, since that particular error is usually caused by a software issue, please tell us when you see the error and the EXACT wording of the error when you see it.. It might be something as simple as uninstalling, then reinstalling a program.. Or if a registry edit is necessary, change only the offending entry.

For example, if you're running Norton, try this:

Open the Control Panel-Internet Options-Programs tab-Manage Add ons. Then make sure you are viewing "show" -[drop down menu]- "add ons that have been used by internet explorer". Find the Norton Confidential Browser helper in the list. At the bottom of window where it says "settings" click "disable", then OK.

If you're not running Norton, try "resetting" Internet Explorer to it's default settings like this: Open the Control Panel-Internet Options-Advanced tab, then click on the "Reset" button.

Hope this helps.
