Regedit: Changing the desktop location didn't work

Jul 31, 2008 12:20PM PDT

I have Win Vista (unfortunately) Home Premium 32-bit. I tried changing the location of the System Folders from the registry going to:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microfost\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

Everything seems to be working fine, except for the Desktop location: it keeps pointing to <c:\Users\userName\Desktop> even when the registry entry points to <x:\userName\Desktop>

Is there anything else that I needed to do? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
