Question

Regarding add-on Block Site on Firefox

Started using this add-on about a week ago, and started adding sites to block. While it does block 'sites', the window still opens and then I have to close this new window. Assuming this is the way its supposed to work, is there an add-on or free program that when you add a site to block, it keeps the site from opening a new window in the first place. I am also using ublock origin.

Thanks in advance

I don't know what AV your using but avast free has a site blocking option, it's in the web shield.

You can also look into using the hosts file.
