refurbished laptops

Nov 6, 2009 3:42AM PST

we are looking for a larger screen internet ready laptop with Windows xp on it for an elderly person---we don't want to spend alot of money---couple hundred--can anyone recommend a refurbisher with credibility?---would it be risky to go with a used/refurbished model from ebay?---she really only uses it for brief internet access, email, and sending pictures to be printed---any suggestions would be helpful......Thanks

Sorry there is no such clearinghouse of good repute.
