Question

Refund for Trendingoverstock ripoff?

Does anyone know a way to get a refund for the Trendingoverstock.com ripoff? I'm frankly shocked that CNET lets them advertise on this site. I haven't used CNET for a while, never had a problem before, but just fell prey to an obvious ripoff advertised here. They take your money, send Microsoft software with no key, and are unresponsive to all attempts to contact. Is there any recourse?

Vetting

Does CNET vet their advertisers these days? A (too late) web review of trendingoverstock.com shows an obvious scam.

Hi tcat7576,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with this company. Have you tried contacting your credit card company to dispute it? That might be a course of action if they are not getting back to you.

Can you tell me where you saw this advertiser and provided a link to that CNET page so I can alert it to the ad team?

Thank you for your help.
