You need them to give you clear instructions on how to install XP. I do not have this for your machine but have a FINE EXAMPLE of the usual install at this link -> http://forums.cnet.com/5208-7587_102-0.html?forumID=69&threadID=271360&messageID=2699006#2699006
Notice that there were 10 driver packages and that the install order mattered? This level of detail is what you need from Toshiba.
-> Just wondering. Why not use the restore CD or DVD?
My Toshiba laptop crashed and I had to reformat the hard drive. I downloaded and installed all the drivers for my laptop from the Toshiba site, but I can't access the internet. It won't recognize that there is an internet connection.
I have Windows XP installed also.
This happened on a Dell computer I have. I'm not sure if I'm missing a driver or file.
I'm not really savvy with programming so please explain in lamen, pleas.e
