These files are used by Windows machines and have no place in the Mac world.
The program you should be going after is called Graphic Converter. It does the same, if not a little more, than IrfanView.
Take care to read the system requirements for software that you are about to download. If it has .exe as the fie extension, leave it alone.
Im new Mac OSX and am unsure what I'm meant to do with exe files.
I'm trying to reduce the volumne size for jpg photos to upload to MySpace.
I've downloaded the Irfanview 3.0 on CNets' Download section, but since im on a Mac all that is coming up on my desktop is a file entitled iview399.exe. But when I click on this is asks me which application I want to use to open it. Nothing I have seems to work.
Can someone help me? this seems to happen with a few things Ive tried to download. Is it just that the downloads are only for PCs?
