Hi, George.

"Fenway Blues" sounds best to me. BTW, I was living in Boston (and rooting for the Sox) the year they lost the series in 7, wasting Pudge Fisk's game 6 heroics. My wife is from Boston, and her family's good-luck wish against all odds is "Good luck to you and the Red Sox!"

Now, Now Josh. Next you will saying its Kerrys fault.
Speaking of the Babe, Did you know when he left the Yackees......

(The Babe actually did not retire after the 1934 season, but played one more year with the Boston Braves.)

LOL, I already blamed Kerry for last year's game 7 loss in another thread. Wink

I hadn't known that Babe Ruth played for another team after the Yankees until I saw the Ken Burns Baseball series. Ruth was pretty well washed up by then.

Hi Josh

I did'nt know you had said that in other thread. (about Kerry I mean.) I miss a lot of threads on this Forum, mis-interpret, screw-up and whatever. Sad

Anyway, I can't believe with all the talent the Red Sox have had, over the years on that team, how THEY can screw up year after year. If they ever do win a World Series, it will be like "The day the earth stood still"

The Red Sox have had some very good teams over the years, but they always seem to collapse towards the end of the season. In '78 they had something like a 15 game lead over the Yankees in midseason and they couldn't hold it.

This year should be a very interesting one. The addition of Schilling should help the Red Sox a lot, and the only Yankee who was able to do any damage against Wakefield isn't on the team anymore. Another game 7 would be awesome, though I got a lot of new gray hairs during the last one!
