Recovery disc for HP mini 311

Hi,
I got a hp mini 311 as a present recently. but it didn't came with a recovery disc (i hope it's bcoz netbooks don't have optical drives). I want to create a recovery disc for my netbook since i have a portable DVD writer. It has "windows Xp home edition EM LrgScrn LFD". Im worried that in case of reinstalling the OS i couldn't be able to find the exact edition of windows Xp.

What should i do? create a recovery disc or is there any other way to get that exact edition of XP????
if I want to create a recovery disc What would be the best software to create a recovery disc??

Thanks!!

Our HP mini

Came with recovery media so that was nice. But to answer your question. USE WHAT HP TELLS YOU TO.

Create those media with HP's method. Sorry, I have done this on far too many machines and there is no standard here. I have to read instructions, look around the menus or ask HP. At hp.com, hit the chat link to ask.
