Question

Recover video files from a dvd not fully finalized

May 15, 2011 7:02AM PDT

Hi,

While I was finalizing a dvd on my Panasonic hdc-dx1 video camera the camera switched off!

Now the dvd seems to be unrecognizable by both the camera and my pc.

I tried CDRoller and ISOBuster with no luck. All applications show my dvd to be empty!

Any ideas how I can retrieve my video files from the dvd?

Thanks!

From the manual.

?Finalization cannot be executed when using a battery.

?If the power supply stops while finalizing, the finalization will fail and the data may be damaged.

Let other OSes peek at it. Linux has those no install boot CDs. Maybe let an Apple user try it.
