Recording video games with my computer

Feb 19, 2007 8:43AM PST

Ok, well I'm looking to record my video games when I play them on my tv. I have my 360 hooked up to my tv and I have a capturecard/tv tuner in my pc that can record video. I want to know if there is a way to use that capture card and somehow hook it up to the tv to record my videogaming. I have a two-ended composite yellow, white, red cable that I connected to my pc and tv and I thought that with that I could record my video games but I guess it doesn't work like that. Is there a special wire that I can connect to my pc and tv that will record my video gaming or am I out of luck and just need to connect my 360 to my computer, I'd really like to be able to play my 360 on a nice tv and record it at the same time on my computer.

A few questions about the adapter...
Feb 20, 2007 6:54AM PST

Can I get an adapter like this at a local electronics/gaming store? Gamestop? Bestbuy? Radioshack? Compusa? etc? I'm looking on their websites but not sure what categories and such I should be looking under if it's there at all. Also, what does this adapter do exactly, I mean I see it says it records gameplay on the 360, but does it allow me to still use my big tv to play it , while recording? With this adapter can I still use regular old windows movie maker and other programs to record this, or is it something special of theirs I have to use?

In your case...

You need to go full retail level where a sales staffer can spend more time with you. I offered such as a quick fix to get it done (and cheap.)
