Apr 12, 2007 5:15AM PDT

Hi. I have a monitor that incorporates a TV tuner and I would like to be able to use that TV signal to record onto my PC hard disk. My PC runst Vista Home Premium. Can anyone tell me if I can get the TV/monitor output into the PC to record it? Thanks.

Can't you just go to "My Computer">"C-Drive">"Record"?

Which monitor?

In most cases the monitor is only able to display what is coming in through the TV tuner, not output it to another device, such as your computer, but occasionally the manufacturer may provide a video out you can connect back to your graphics card. Name the make and model and you may get lucky.

Hi. Thanks for your repy. It's an AOC M19W monitor/TV. Looking at the manual, It labels all the connectors as 'input' and none as 'output' so maybe that means I can't do it.

About your AOC M19W Manual ....

Hi dgee, I just bought the same monitor/TV, but because it was ex-display, it wasn't boxed, so I didn't get all the bits.

I was in a hurry for a monitor & it was reduced ... one of those moments ... I'll try not to do that again! I didn't even get the remote control!

I wonder if there's a way you could copy the manual for me (if it's not too big!), & also let me have a list of what should have been in the box?

I'd be really grateful.
