Worth mentioning is AUDACITY (google.com) which I use to capture analog audio to .WAV or even MP3s in preparation for making a CD.

I am into karaoke and would like to record to CD when I have perfected some of the songs I do. I would like to know if I can put tape recorded onto my computer and record it to CD, and if so, how. I would also like to know how to redord directly to my PC and if I need a special program or equipment.
