Recording on DVD camcorder

Dec 19, 2005 6:03AM PST

I am considering purchasing a DVD camcorder after the holidays. I've done lots of research but something I'm not sure about (and this may be dumb)but can't find it anywhere.
Lets say I record 15 minutes of a party and then want to record 15 minutes of something later in the week. Can you go right to the spot you left off at on a DVD and continue to record?
Thanks for any help you can give me.

multiple clips

Hi
So far I know all DVD Camcorders behave in the same way that they create a new clip everytime you press the ''stop record'' button.
Therefore if you do another recording some days later the cam will always create a seperate clip for it.
So far I know there is no way to force a DVD camcorder to continue recording on the previous clip.
However, Combining the indiviual clips to one single clip can be done on the computer.
