Is there a way to Record in HD to my computer's hard drive from the HD cable box?

Well,,,,NO. This is part of the MMPA conspiracy.
The only way I currenly know of is to get a ATI HD wonder PCI card then you can record OTA HDTV to your hard drive and play it back, get a VGA to component adapter for your video card the watch it on you TV. JOhn

Due to DRM management, in the future, You will have to pay for every copy you watch. If you want to stop them from taking all recording control from you go to the EFF.com
