Recording from Internet radio

Apr 7, 2005 8:52PM PDT

I want to record Internet radio programs. I don't need real high quality since these are spoken word programs but even with searches and so forth I haven't a clue.

What programs can I figure out how to work (that one one problem). and what do i need to make these things work. I am really lost in this regard and i really want to record these programs. They are great!

Thanks, Nora

I'm sorry I'm not getting it.

I can see how to record the info once i get it into my computer but how do i get it onto my computer. I can hear it thru Win media player or Realtime player or... but I am missing the bit about grapping the stuff from that to the Audacity recorder. This is where I am confused.

How do I connect the two or just get the stuff on my computer to record from?

Thanks, Nora

You'll have to look it up on Google.com

Audacity has it's own home page and instructions. I don't duplicate it's instructions here.

You can register Total Recorder for about $12 to capture your streaming audio and save it in files on your HD. It has gotten great reviews including those from CNet.

Hop over to www.download.com and buy it. You won't be sorry.

Best,
