When the HDMI is in use those analog outputs are usually squelched. Sorry but I'll only share that this is what I see and not any reason why.
Can anyone figure out why i cannot record the TV program using my Diga DMR ES25 DVD recorder using Att Uverse DVR. My connections are as follows.
The cable wire goes as input into the Att Uverse Gateway. The output from the Gateway goes to the DVR via ethernet cable. The AV (Y/W/R) cables from DVR output is connected to input of my Panasonic Diga DMR ES25 DVD recorder. Another set of AV cables (Y/W/R) connects my Panasonic LCD TV component input to output of the DVD recorder. Lastly an HDMI cable connects the DVR to LCD TV. My panasonic LCD HDTV model is TC-32LX14. When the TV is in the HDMI mode and if i start the record button using the DVD player all it records is static screen (B/W dots on the screen. Am i doing something wrong anywhere? Some help would be greatly appreciated.
