Record PVR events from Dish Network 501 to VCR?

Is is possible to transfer stored PVR programs to a VCR? Thanks.

yes. run audio and video cables from the dish receiver's out jacks to the in jacks on the vcr. set the vcr to line in, start the program on the 501, and hit record on the vcr.
