Recommended Back-up software?

May 11, 2008 9:54AM PDT

I'm purchasing a new custom computer for mostly work and some gaming and I am looking for a good quality backup software.

What I would like to do is create images of the HD to be reinstalled on other Hard Drives as necessary and possibly be able to make an exact copy on another internal drive.

Any recommendations?

I prefer Acronis TrueImage...

I used to rely on Norton Ghost with great success, but after a string of backup-related issues with newer versions I switched to Acronis TrueImage and have been saved by it a couple times over. As an added bonus, the latest version also offers a Try&Decide mode which, when activated, prevents any system changes (Windows settings, program installations, file changes, etc) from becoming permanent until you decide to either apply them or delete them.
