Since CD's and DVD's already have digital content, there is no need to convert.
VLC can play video from an image (made with free IMGBURN). And possibly (but that's not clear) audio from an image also.
If not, you can mount the CD image in Windows 10 as a drive and see if you can play that like you can play from a real CD in the optical drive. But you might prefer to rip the CD to individual .mp3 or .wav files. Both iTunes and CDEX are free, and you might be able to find other programs if you google RIP CD.
Any recommendations for software to convert CDs and DVDs to digital content? I need something for Windows 10 and that will allow me to download to a google drive or external hard drive.
