That debate has been going on forever here and Everywhere else
I have a Dell Inspiron 15-3000 series laptop which I received in October 2016; it came with a load of McAfee software pre-installed but if I wanted to change from the McAfee AV to something else; something like a free AV software offered here on CNET what's a good AV software offered on CNET to consider?
The OS on this Dell laptop is Windows 7 which can be upgraded to Windows 10. On an older Dell laptop; a Vostro 1510 which I had several years ago I installed Avast AV from CNET; the free version. I see Avast AV free version is still listed on CNET; is Avast AV free version still considered to be a good free AV program or is there something else available on CNET that's better than Avast AV's free version?
