Any suggestions as to which external USB enclosure to use with a 3TB disk that would let me use the whole 3TB ??

My observation, external enclosure manufacturers have been remiss in addressing the hard drive capacity issue and their enclosures and if there's more than one way to address the entire drive as one HDD or parts, that just adds to the difficulty.
When I was looking at enclosures for large hard disk drives, I wrote to mfgs to inquire about the issue and encouraged them to add this info to their product specs and advertising literature. Really makes it hard to find the right product when the product specs don't include/address when you're looking.
Let us know how it turns out.

PS...I saw one 3TB enclosure by Rosewill over at Newegg but don't know how it addresses the drive space. While I always like to choose my drive enclosure and drives separately, it may be easier to buy a retail external 3TB unit by Seagate or WD.
