reception in New Jersey

Dec 31, 2004 12:14AM PST

I now have T-mobile and am thinking of switching to verizon. I need advice about the reception of both carriers. I seem to have problems with reception in my house with tmobile and some areas in my area of nj what phone would be advised with verizon. I have my eye on the vx6100 I know that i do need a speaker phone and the camera is not as important but fun to use or if you know of any new phone coming out with these features. Thanks

Reception in NJ

The only problem with the LG6100 is in the volume when you first receive a call. The first 3-5 seconds you can barely hear the person on the other end. Then after the initial few seconds the volume is fine. It drove me nuts. Other than that it was a good phone. I seem to do well with a tri-mode phone with Verizon. Consider the audiovx 9900 if you can fine it. Also go to phonescoop.com for additional info. Best wishes!
