However, since this is their own server, it may be accessible only when you are on their network. That is, many of these ISP email servers do not allow use when you are out and about and at some WiFi hotspot.
Bob
I'm having trouble setting up Outlook to receive emails addressed to my "mypostoffice.co.uk address. It was suggested that I follow the instructions at [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/outlook/other-email-accounts] for - 'Add a Yahoo! Mail Plus or other POP account to Outlook.com', after entering the email account and password I clicked next, I received the following message:- "Sorry, we couldn't find the right settings for your account. Please review the information below and try again".
The incoming server address was shown as pop.mypostoffice.co.uk - port 995 and the outgoing server address was smtp.mypostoffice.co.uk - port 465, I spoke to mypostoffice helpline and was advised that the incoming server address should be pop3.mypostoffice.co.uk port 25 and the incoming server address smtp.mypostoffice.co.uk port 25. I made the appropriate changes except the incoming port which only gave a choice of 995 or 110 so I tried entering first 995 and then 110 each time receiving the message "There's a problem connecting to the pop3 mail server".
Can anybody suggest how I should proceed to solve this problem.

Bob Russell
