reboot

I would like to know why my comp.restart when it is
idle i have a hp xt963 a windows xp i check everthing
i could but it still does it help

Tell us what about everything you checked.

Current BIOS, case cover off to cehck for heat and so on. No need to repeat an item you checked.

try turning your screen saver and any power saving schedules you have off one at a time.
If its the screen caver change it or just turn it off.
If it is the power saving items check for a bios update and/or your mother board drivers.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
