Question

blue ribbon in asus x541N - SOLVED

Apr 13, 2019 10:35AM PDT

Hello! I just installed an SSD, and when I took off the covering (the keyboard piece that covered all the inside tech), there was a blue ribbon attached lightly to something in the motherboard area, and on the underside of the keyboard piece. However, I can't figure out where/how to put it back in? Is it necessary?

On the end I believe goes in the motherboard area, it is labeled "TP" and there is a... piece that also has the label "TP" next to it. On the length of the ribbon, "HF" is printed. At the end I believe goes under the keyboard, it is labeled "MB." I don't see any "MB" on the keyboard piece.

EDIT: I believe I fixed it! Can't be sure yet because I'm not able to turn on and check (I forgot my charger elsewhere) but... I'm all good and I can't figure out how to delete this post lol
