There would be no gain in any area with just the 3.5mm connection as that's just stereo. Go back to the setup that worked.
Hi, i had my soundbar connected thru the line in , in the back of my computer , and my headphones/mic pluged into the front via 3.5mm.
Everything was working fine until i discovered i only had realtek audio drivers and not the realtek HD audio manager .
After intstalling HD manager i cant get them both to work, i the went and deleted the realtek audio driver incase it was conflicting.......headphones have sound and mic works but no soundbar.......also when i unplug headphones, soundbar doesnt work.......any help please
