Here's a list of things I'd do:
1) If you don't have your system backed up, do it now. If nothing else, you want to be certain you have your data backed up.
2) Make sure you have the discs needed to restore your system to factory settings as documented in your Toshiba User Guide.
3) Get your antivirus program up to date, then boot to Safe Mode and do a full system scan with it.
4) Install MalwareBytes, get it up to date, and let it scan. When it finishes, tell it to quarantine anything it finds.
5) From an elevated command prompt (i.e. Start, type CMD, right-click CMD.EXE & click Run as Administrator) type sfc /scannow.
Good luck.
Hi im having a problem with my toshiba amd quad core touchscreen laptop.
A little square box appears on my screen and locks in my mouse cursor inside it but then a second cursor appears outside the box but its distorted and flashing. It keeps occuring approx ever 20 to 30 sometimes not even that. Its only a year old and has been a great computer up until this point. If there is anyone at all that could has any info at all on what this possibly could be it would be GREATLY apprieciated!
Thank you for your time
