Resolved Question

Really bad mouse problem

Mar 19, 2018 10:20AM PDT

So i've had this problem really long time and its getting worse. So the problem is that my mouse works really bad in games e.g. inconsistent sensitivity and mouse laggs really bad. In the beginning it wasn't so bad but it got really bad overtime and now it's unplayable. It's the same problem in almost every game pubg, cs:go and overwatch.

I have a zowie EC1-A and had a razer deathadder still the same problem. I have windows 10.

The only thing that has helped to update my drivers (geforce experience) it fixed the problem, but when i restarted my computer the problem was back. So i reinstalled my nvidia drivers and it worked again but the same problem remains after i restart my computer.

Can somebody help me or should i factory reset my windows 10?

Just A Thought or Two

First, because installing the nVidia drivers seems to fix the issue, but it doesn't stay that way after restart, have you tried replacing the CMOS battery on the motherboard?

And next, if would be a good idea to check the motherboard manufacturer for updated BIOS software and updated chipset drivers for your motherboard? If not, please do.

And finally, although this a long shot, try making sure Windows isn't turning OFF the USB Root Hub to save power. Do it like this: Open the Control Panel-Device Manager. Once that's done, find the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" section and double click it to show the various devices. Scroll down to the first "USB Root Hub" entry and double click it. Then click on the "Power Management" tab and UNCHECK the box that says: "Allow the computer to turn this device off to save power". Click on OK, then perform these same steps on any other "USB Root Hub" listings you find.

Hope this helps.

That usb root power management worked just fine but same thing happened that after restart i doesnt work anymore, but this time when i restarted my windows wanted to update. And after i restarted and updated the power managment thing was off but my mouse didn't want to work. Weird

But I'm gonna try the other options you gave me.
