Realalt/ram files/direct show

Jun 15, 2007 10:27AM PDT

Trying to convert real files to wave. Doing this trhu a thru a converter from another site. I have d/l real atlernative, ac3 filter, direct show.

When I try to convert it will not and it gives me this msg:

"Direct show filter to ram file types is not installed, or audio files is corrupt dDecpder::open

I am running a Dell vista home basic. dimension c521 sempron 3400=(1.80ghz,256k. 1 gb ddr2 sdram at 667mhz sound is sigmatel hidef.

If anyone has some thoughts, ideas or would know what type of ram filter I need I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Vista is extremely intolerant of DRM issues.. I've seen some of your discussions in other forums and unfortunately, I've got little to add.

Hope this helps.
