Clarification Request
What do you mean by File Sharing?

Editing docs, xls and ppt is easy. Just use the Microsoft applications that created them.

But file sharing, in what context and what does real-time mean?

1 file. 1 common place. Multiple users.

I am referring to multiple collaborators (users), editing and saving a document, at different points of time, which can be updated as-the-changes-are-made, without the nightmare of either having multiple versions of the document or losing any of the collaborator's updates due to overwriting. Saved at a common place, should be accessible by defined users. Right now we are using Sharepoint which does not have the real-time updating feature.

Google docs does it.

But you can't expect the full power of MS Word 2010, MS Excel 2010 and MS Powerpoint 2010 then.
