Question

Real Player Browser Record Plugin

Jan 12, 2013 11:26PM PST

I just updated to Firefox 18 and my Real Player Plus will not record videos while using this browser. It does work with IE 9, although it seems to crash before the video is finished recording. It seems that before a new version of Real Player is ready, the old version starts to malfunction. Is this a built in so that you have to spend more money?

Any suggestion as to how I can remedy this situation?

Thanks in advance.

I can only guess you've been on the Real Player treadmill for over the past decade+. When this happens you wait till they issue yet another version.

Those that are new to this may not know this.

Are you saying that this is a scam to sell their new version? If so, what a freaking ripoff.

I did not write that.

I only noted that the story is not new. You saw this issue with Real dating back to the early 1980's when they began. And apps die all the time with updates to OS or more. Nothing has changed in decades. I wondered if you had been around long enough to know.
