Linux Media Centre - Works on PS3?
by navsimpson / March 28, 2007 3:52 AM PDT

I've read some stuff that says you can get MythTV running well on PS3 - and other things saying that the fact Linux on the PS3 can't access the GPU means that it runs terribly.

Anyone know if the PS3 can function as its own little Linux media centre?

Extenders vs. Vista
by itslave / March 29, 2007 3:32 AM PDT

Has anyone found a way to hack Vista and/or existing Media Center Extenders to work together?

I don't want to buy an Xbox 360 just to use it as a media extender.

What was that Linux Media Center you mentioned?

The one where there is a video on the Web? I listened to your podcast, deleted it and forgot the URL.

Another Media Center which a few of my friends have now
by shikarr / April 5, 2007 6:08 PM PDT

Is made by the Guys at TVEase. It is a Linux Myth TV prebuilt and setup box able to run out of the box. My friend loves his and has convinced me to get one also after seeing all his can do.
