Hello I am having the same problem. I dont know what the white rectangle with the coloured shapes means. I have had trouble with installing flashplayer and cant go onto sites that require it. If I find anything usefull I will post back here. Deb
OP: Windows XP, Browser:Internet Explorer 6
When I am opening IE6 and going to animated websites all I can see is the blue/red little square (called thumbnail ?) in the top left corner of the animation or picture thus the macromedia flashplayer doesn't work!
I also downloaded Ashampoo Win optimizer which is macromedia flashplayer dependent as well - all I can see are eight little thumbnails thus I can't access this program.
On the other hand my other browser Mozilla just works fine with macromedia flashplayer so I guess the flashplayer is actually perfectly working.
From other sources I got the ideas that the problem might be with the plug in's or in the registry of IE6 however I am not an expert at all - so I need you tech freaks to solve this problem!
I also came across so called "thumbnail fix" programs but I don't really know if this would solve the problem...
If a moderator would plug in this problem - it would be just great and very much appreciated.
Many thanks for your help!!
Peter
