Re: Question about Sprint Treo 650

by oopenguin / February 2, 2006 9:24 AM PST

I want to buy a sprint treo 650 (I am a current sprint pcs customer looking to change phones). I am currently looking on ebay and elswhere and getting quite confused. I see some listing that say sprintpcs network compatibility but they also list the phone as quad band/GSM.
I also see this type of phone listed as unbranded and unlocked, world multi band and service compatibilty with all major phone service providers in the US including sprint. My questions are this:
I understand that sprint pcs is CDMA, how does this work with quad band/GSM? Is this even possible at all?
Would sprint be able to put me on their network if I buy the unbranded world multi band? or the quad band/GSM?
Is it possible to have a phone that works for both CDMA and GSM (I use it on the sprint network and can also put in my tmobile pay as u go sim or international sim card? assuming I buy the unbranded multi band)

A BIG THANK YOU TO WHOEVER CAN ANSWER MY QUESTIONS

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
