In addition, I've not seen anyone downgrade from the original IE8 (Win7 came with this version) or IE9 back to IE7 on Windows 7. It is possible to uninstall IE9 from your current setup using the Control Panel-Programs and Features section.... and it will automatically revert back to the previous IE8 version.

Loathe ie9 pop-ups @ screen bottom. Also (after installing recent "Certified Microsoft UPDATES"), I am getting a small Error Box in middle of ie home sites, saying in header that Web Page is trying to send "something" to said Webpage & it has been blocked, hence the UNDELETABLE li'l square Error Prompt.
I digress. Can i return to ie7?
Running Win7 Home Premium w/ie9 listed as an installed update. Grrrrrrr...
