rca sound gradually goes out

by doctorgrunge / February 8, 2006 8:10 AM PST

I have a RCA model p52921 big screen tv.
The sound gradually fades out until eventually there is only the sound of white noise.
The next day, after the TV sits for about 5 hours, the sound is fine when I wake up. I have a friend that's willing to help me open it up to fix it if I
can get a good idea of what's wrong, and what to do.

Well heat is the problem or a chip that is going bad. But unless you have the schematic for the the set,,,, it will be a needle in a hay stack. How old is the SET??? John

I found a website that I can get schematics.
If I have a good idea of what it is, then I can try and check it once I have the schematics.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
