RCA Lyra RD2780 - Software for converting DVD to MPEG4-SP

Apr 27, 2006 4:19AM PDT

I need help finding easy to use software to convert my DVDs to AVI files that my Lyra likes.... RCA says that it supports MPEG4-SP with MP3 audio, and gives the following specifications:

http://www.rcaaudiovideo.com/Cultures/en-US/RLDetail.html?ArticleNum=164&PC=Lyra%26%23153%3b+Digital+Audio+Player

I currently use Pocket DVD Studio to make .avi files for my Archos AV700, with the Xvid codec. They play fine on the Archos, but with the Lyra, I get ''B-Frames Detected'' ''Audio Sync May be Lost''.

The files play pretty well, but the audio is a little distorted. I appeal to anyone who has the RD2780 to clue me in on what software they have found to be the best for creating .avi files specifically for the Lyra.

Thanks!
