I own an RCA Lyra rd1071A. It's 128 MB. It's great, but small. I'm looking at the 20 GB model now, it's $199.96 at work (circuit city). I think it's a great value, and I always show it to potential Ipod buyers, not that I hate selling Ipods, but there is plenty of competition to consider right?
Anyway, would you recomend it? It's cheap for the capacity, and i've loved my old one, but the next track button broke after a couple years, and it's time to re-up anyway. What do you think?
I have an RD2825 w/20 Gb of storage. It doesn't seem to be a very prevalent player, but appears similar to the 40 Gb player. I purchased it for $179.99, so I couldn't pass up the deal. So far, I'm fairly pleased with it. I would have liked it to have a radio tuner, but that's difficult to find in any player for the price. Also, the side controls are a bit difficult to manage when the player is sleeved. Somtimes, a song will sound garbled but after profiling the contents, the song will play fine. I've noticed this occurs on a song that was recorded at a different bit-rate (usually lower) than the previous song. Maybe this is a problem that could be resolved by the software, any ideas?
