RCA Cables noise problem??

Aug 13, 2005 1:46AM PDT

I have a Dell4100 Pen III 933/133 w/ Sound blaster Live card. I have connected my PC to my HDTV TV via the sound card. Works good except for feedback hum in background. Do I need better cables than just RCA 3.5mm stero cables?? You don't notice it untll it is silent for a few seconds. Anybody w/ advice?? ODIE
