According to the offical web site above, it has not indicated what network V3X uses.
If a phone that works for cingular, then it's not gonna appear in Verizon or sprint's web sites.

I've been following the news on this phone for a while and thought that Cingular would be the only carrier to pick up this phone when it eventually releases. Then I stumbled on this article from a Korean newspaper (http://www.koreaherald.co.kr/SITE/data/html_dir/2005/09/13/200509130015.asp) that says Sprint and Verizon will be carrying it (2nd to last paragraph). Am I misreading this, or is this misinformation?

I'm confused about the bluetooth phones - Can I buy a razor hone and take it to my sprint carrier and have it activated? Does this phone work on sprint network is probably the more appropriate question?
First of all you want to ensure what network the phone supports. Sprint - before it merged with Nextel, it used CDMA network, but Cingular and T-mobile use GSM.
Razr V3 e1 is quadband phone that supports gsm 850/900/1800/1900 network. I don't think it works for cmda network unless there is a particular version for sprint.
I would go for the V3x. It's 3G and the image quality on the camera sensor has improved.
