Hi Julea,
hmm..... I can't remember Willy had posted about the benefits of RAV. I did a search for the "best" on-line virus scan and Trend Micro's Housecall and Panda on-line scan are still the Number one - then RAV. I did not post the link as it was from PC Welt - it's in German - guess, it wouldn't help a lot for you trying to read it ![]()

Many months ago, someone (I think it was Bill ?(aka "Willy") suggested trying RAV Antivirus online scan. I have been using since that time and am pleased with it.
At the time of his suggestion, he mentioned one of the benefits of using RAV was because it showed some information that other scans didn't show -- I think it scanned a certain type of file that others didn't.
I'm really groping here as I just don't remember what he said was so good about it and I would like to know what it looks for or catches that others don't.
I also use Panda, AVG, spybot, etc., etc., etc., but periodically run RAV antivirus for another reassurance!
Could someone help me out please. Thank you.
P.S. I'm still around, just don't post much anymore -- but read sometimes.
