Not sure what the problem is.

When I click that link I get a browser message saying I need to enable my browser's Javascript.

I didn't enable it because I do not download files from RapidShare. I don't know what those files really are, and am not prepared to risk getting any viruses or other malware.

I presumed everyone would know that I am downloading at download.com as this is a download.com forum.
But I am downloading from download.com when I get the Rapid share site.
This has not happened before and I have not had any other problems with download.com

I hoping someone at cnet or download.com would see this.

Can you provide the link please?

If we could have the link to the Download.com details page for this product, then I can pass it on to the Download.com team. They don't usually accept products where the link refers to RapidShare.

By the way Mark,

Someone disabled the Rapid Share link I originally posted saying it was an executable.

And this is what I get on the radip share page:

Error
This secured TrafficShare-Download has expired.

Yes you're right, and thank you for the link.

The software developer is a web site called Mister Group at;
http://www.mistergroup.org/

I see nothing worrying about their web site, but when I navigate to their download page they themselves link to a RapidShare download. I downloaded the file, 'SystemExplorerSetup.exe' and it downloaded OK. I virus scanned it with my own anti-virus and it came up clean.

Strangely, they have another download link, this time from their own web site.

They are a Czech Republic development team and I notice that the Download.com software description page has no reviews although over 46,000 downloads have been made but I have to wonder if they are for older versions. There's no feedback to consider 'for this new version'. In their web site they quote Download.com with 5 stars, but that is for an older version.

What I find strange is, the CNET team reviewed this on Feb 27, 2009, but the file was added on July 26, 2010. Usually upgrades are reviewed separately as if they were new software products.

I have alerted the Download.com team to this broken link, and to the RapidShare referral.

May I say...? I'm a coward. I don't like experimenting with software that I cannot find reviews for and so personally I would stay away from this one. But that is just me, and I cannot say there is anything suspicious about this software.

Thanks again.

Thanks all I've reported this...

to the Download.com team. I'm pretty certain we don't allow rapid share, so not sure what's up with this.

Thanks for reporting it. I will update when I hear back from the team.
