I have actually had folks from Lexmark in my house to work on driver issues on a PC. They gave me some valuable insight on how their business model works. At the time I was having issues with a HP DV700t laptop driver. I kept in contact with these super folks, and when I was needing Mac drivers I knew where to go to at the Lexmark site and what was their latest release. I think people make the mistake that since Apple installs most popular drivers (usually in a very generic form and without all of the bells and whistles), that they do all of their own coding.
I've been trying to research this, merely out of curiosity, to no avail. I have faith that someone here knows tho...
I mean it might just be my own perception, but it seems that Mac/OSX seems to run so much smoother than Windows. Hardware specs aside that is.
Do macs pump out higher fps? do the screens have a higher refresh rate? I guess these questions seem stupid, but I can't figure it out. So for now, I'll just assume I'm seeing things... lol ![]()
