Question

Random message while surfing (macair)

Sep 30, 2014 10:42AM PDT

I was just doing some normal surfing on my computer when the screen started to turn gray from the top down and this message appeared telling me to restart my computer and it looks like China (so creepy). I didn't restart and just let my computer run out of batteries but every once in a while the computer will run really slow for about an hour. Is someone remotely monitoring me or what? This is crazy!

I can't figure out how to post a picture of the message but I have one if you need to see it. Thanks!

I think you are running Mac OS X?

If so try the usual resets of the browsers and my choice for Chrome was 2 add ons. These are Adblock+ and WOT (Web Of Trust.)

As to monitoring, it's widely publicized that the NSA is monitoring everything on the web, cell phones and more.
